My name is Jang Hyun Seung

Born September 3, 1989. Minus Dongwoon, we all decided to be friends because we all started school around the same year. If we were in different grades, there wouldn’t be any mercy regarding that matter.

Because I like items that I can wear around my neck, I like to use scarves around fall and winter. But, between the members we don’t share any of our items. Idol groups have that image of wearing the same clothes between the members, but we decided early on that we were going to each wear our separate clothes.

These days I hear that I lost a lot of weight. I usually hear that I look very feminine a lot, but I think that image is starting to stick on me more. To be honest, I think my styling goes along with that as well. Originally, Dongwoon and I were supposed to be the flower...... (Doojoon: Flower boys. Flowers of BEAST!)

I wanted to have a stage name, but because I didn’t have a name picked out, I just ended up using my real name. I thought stars, singers in particular, had to use a stage name when I was little. It’s like how you wear stage clothes on stage. Ah, that doesn’t mean I don’t like my name. I believe that I’m being a good son to my parents.

I don’t have a special way of getting rid of stress. If something upsets me, I leave it until it goes away, but I hold a lot of in. In a way I lived a pretty closed-up life. Closed-up yep.

I can’t say that I am a perfectionist with my own lips, but I do want to be perfect. How should I say it. I am not really aiming to be perfect, but I don’t want to be bad at something. That is all.

After moving companies, for a month I danced making notes with the mindset that I am starting new. But the thing about art, I learned that it wasn’t right for me to approach it in that matter, but I just ended up doing whatever stuck into my mind. Haha.

When I first met Doojoon, I was introduced as if he was going to be our leader, but he had such a trustworthy image I believed it right away. Junhyung had a mysterious and chic image, but we were both quiet so it took awhile to get to know him. I used to know Yoseob as the guy who can sing well, but one thing I know for sure, he didn’t have his image now back then!

When Kikwang made his debut as AJ, I thought he was a good male solo act so I watched his debut stage. So, when I saw him after I joined the team, I was really happy. When I was in the dance team, there wasn’t anyone in my age group there because it was really hard to live the way we were living. But, he was good at dancing and because we shared the same interests, I was so happy to practice with him. In addtion, I didn’t know he was so 4D like that.

When I eat something, I say Kikwang. Because he worked out for a long time, he knows what is bad for your body and knows all these facts. Right now I want to eat this cracker, but I just nibbled and looked at it. Ah I can’t eat it. (Yoseob: Revealing Hyunseung’s body for next album!)
